Tamara and Brett have a fabulous property in New South Wales that is nice and close to the beach and shrouded by natural bush. They've decided to share their slice of paradise by building a 12 square meter Cabana kitset into a glamping cabin, the Howie Retreat Hut, where they host guests and visitors as part of their Airbnb venture.
Now they have a sweet spot separate from their main home that generates some income while they can enjoy their lifestyle. Tamara and Brett decided to paint their three meter by four meter Cabana SheShed in neutral colours, so that the beach and natural surroundings are highlighted more. The cabin has been positioned so that there is a pleasant view from the inside, and a decent deck has even been added to give visitors a nice outdoor spot to sit in and relax. We can see why this location is a popular destination for tourists - it makes sense to share some of the good life with visitors from out of town - while still maintaining some privacy and independence for them.
Brett has even gone above and beyond and has added fly screens to the windows and an air conditioning unit so that "every season is catered for" when their guests come to stay. The SheShed has been fully kitted out with electricity for comfort and convenience, with feature lighting and artwork, giving the Airbnb cabin life and a welcoming feel.
When asked about their experience with SheShed, Tamara does not hold back with what it was like to work with the team:
"The Sheshed team is the reason we bought. Friendly and happy to answer all our questions from start to finish! What a blessing to have such a hard working team. Well done!"- Tamara C
