Make the Most of Your Space

When it comes to setting out your home office and making the most of the space there are five essential guidelines to follow to create a productive and inspiring home office space

  • Purpose and Functionality: Define how you’ll use the space, considering whether it’s purely for work or also for storage, meetings, or creative projects.
  • Lighting and Windows: Position your workspace to make the most of natural light while adding task lighting for evening work.
  • Desk Placement and Ergonomics: Arrange your desk for comfort and focus, ensuring enough space for ergonomic furniture and movement.
  • Tech and Power Needs: Plan for convenient power access and cable management to support your tech setup and future upgrades.
  • Aesthetics and Personalisation: Use decor, plants, and colours that inspire you, making the cabin a pleasant and energising space.

Build Your Office with Ease Using Our Interlocking system

Assembling your SheShed cabin with our interlocking system is straightforward and satisfying. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how the interlocking wall system works:

  1. Prepare the Base: Lay the base frame on a level foundation.
  1. First Row: Start with the first row of tongue and groove timbers, interlocking them around the base.
  1. Build the Walls: Stack the timbers, ensuring each fits snugly into the one below.
  1. Lock the Corners: Use the “classic notch” corners to lock the walls firmly in place.
  1. Finish the Walls: Continue stacking timbers until all the walls are complete.

Our interlocking system ensures fast, simple construction resulting in a sturdy, weatherproof (when painted), and beautiful cabin that stands the test of time.

Final Thoughts

Whilst we've identified our top four most popular home office cabins above, the final decision really does come down to you and which cabin you feel will best suit your individual needs.

So, we guess the only thing left to do now is decide which cabin you'll be choosing.
